Why InsightNotes
A psychological evaluation is weeks of careful work, and the report is where much of the time goes. InsightNotes exists so that time goes into the clinical thinking — not into retyping intake notes, formatting headings or fighting a template.
What we believe
Records stay with the practice
Clinicians are trusted with their clients’ records, and so should their software be. InsightNotes keeps them on the practice’s own computers, encrypted, with no cloud copy.
The clinician decides
AI drafts; the clinician reviews, edits and signs. InsightNotes never decides risk, dangerousness, credibility, custody or placement — those sections are left for the clinician to write.
Nothing invented
Drafts are written only from what the clinician documented, and a draft that goes beyond it is refused rather than shown.
Works where evaluators work
Evaluations happen in jails, schools and family homes. The app works offline and asks for the internet only when it needs it.
